Career Fair, Education Fair at McKendree Set for Feb. 12

Lebanon, IL (01/22/2025) — McKendree University will be hosting its annual career fair on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. An education fair will also be held that day from 4 to 6 p.m. Both events will take place at the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts in the lobby and stage area on campus.

The career fair will host dozens of top employers from various companies and organizations and is ideal for students and alumni in all majors. Additionally, the education fair will be a great opportunity for education majors or alumni to speak with a wide variety of school districts and other employers who are hiring education majors.

"McKendree University's Career Fair and Education Fair both provide students and alumni with a valuable opportunity to speak with a wide variety of employers for job and internship opportunities, explore career paths, and gain confidence while speaking with employers," said Jennifer Pickerell, director of Career Services at McKendree University. "Career Services is excited to bring together such a diverse group of organizations who are eager to connect with our students and alumni."

Attendees should wear business attire and can reach out to Career Services at careerservices@mckendree.edu to schedule an appointment for Bogey's Career Closet so they may choose four free professional clothing items each year. Students should also introduce themselves and provide employers with information about their major, skills and experience. If students need assistance with their resumes, they may also reach out to Career Services.
