McKendree University Named ALL IN Highly Established Action Plan Seal Recipient for 2026
Lebanon, IL (03/17/2026) — McKendree University was recently named a recipient of the ALL IN Highly Established Action Plan Seal for the 2026 election cycle. The university received this for developing a nonpartisan democratic engagement plan that received at least 31.5 of 36 possible points based on the Strengthening American Democracy Action Planning Guide (SADG) rubric.
McKendree is one of 129 campuses that has earned this recognition so far for the 2026 electric cycle.
"I'm proud that McKendree is recognized as a community that values civic engagement," said Dr. Ann Collins, professor of political science at McKendree University. "Our students are eager to have their voices heard - not only in our classrooms, but also at the ballot box."
The rubric was developed to supplement the publication Strengthening American Democracy: A Guide for Developing an Action Plan to Increase Civic Learning, Political Engagement, and Voter Participation Among College Students. It includes several criteria including civic engagement, civic learning, voter registration, and more.
