Tara Stacey to Take Part in McKendree's Academic Excellence Day

McKendree University students will present their scholarly and creative work during the university's first Academic Excellence Day on April 24 at the Lebanon, Illinois campus. Tara will present her chemistry thesis, on the results found through experimentation on the "Determination of Unsaturated versus Saturated Fat Content of Different Kinds of Nuts Using the Bomb Calorimetry."

Classes will not be held, so that students, faculty and staff may attend including capstone project and research poster presentations, art exhibits and performances. Several honor society inductions will also be held.
