Rebecca Simmons to Take Part in McKendree's Academic Excellence Day

McKendree University students will present their scholarly and creative work during the university's first Academic Excellence Day on April 24 at the Lebanon, Illinois campus. Rebecca will present a research poster on "Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Categories: Specific Learning Disabilities," providing definitions, characteristics, services and treatment options for all students served in this area.

Classes will not be held, so that students, faculty and staff may attend including capstone project and research poster presentations, art exhibits and performances. Several honor society inductions will also be held.
