Rebecca Blake is Part of Honorary Theater Fraternity at McKendree University

Rebecca Blake, of Branson, was installed as secretary of McKendree University's Alpha Theta chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, national honorary theater fraternity, on April 7. Blake is a sophomore majoring in sociology-social work.

Established in 1927, McKendree's Alpha Theta chapter of Alpha Psi Omega is one of the oldest active chapters in the U.S. The fraternity honors students who have contributed to the university's theater program and fosters an awareness and appreciation of theater among all McKendree students. Students earn points toward induction by participating in productions as actors or technical crew.
