Rachael Valbert is Part of Honorary Theater Fraternity at McKendree University

Rachael Valbert, of Granite City, was inducted and installed as publicity manager of McKendree University's Alpha Theta chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, national honorary theater fraternity, on April 7. Valbert is a junior majoring in elementary education-social sciences.

Established in 1927, McKendree's Alpha Theta chapter of Alpha Psi Omega is one of the oldest active chapters in the U.S. The fraternity honors students who have contributed to the university's theater program and fosters an awareness and appreciation of theater among all McKendree students. Students earn points toward induction by participating in productions as actors or technical crew.
