Paige Brocaille is a Writing Consultant at McKendree

Paige Brocaille, a senior elementary education-social science major, is one of four writing consultants for McKendree University's Writing Center.

Consultants are selected for their language skills, patience, flexibility and knowledge of written English. They help students with motivation, organizing a paper, creating a thesis statement, citing research, avoiding plagiarism, and mastering grammar, punctuation and the mechanics of writing. Assistance is available to all McKendree students, faculty and staff, by appointment or on a walk-in basis. Those who are not at the Lebanon campus may use an online program that allows them to work with the writing consultants in real time in a virtual meeting room.
