Megan Pea Featured in Exhibition at McKendree Gallery of Art

Megan Pea, from Millstadt, is one of six McKendree University senior art majors whose work will be featured at an exhibition at the McKendree Gallery of Art, 224 West St. Louis St. in Lebanon, Ill. Pea will be showing work in a variety of media. She has created several large paintings with acrylics and house paints on MDF board and various wood, intended to influence the way the viewer perceives color.

The student exhibition opens on Thursday, May 9 and continues through May 20. It is free and open to the public. For gallery hours and information, visit www.mckendree.edu/artgallery.

The show is the culmination of the students' art experience at McKendree and their final exhibition before they graduate, said Amy MacLennan, assistant professor of art. They will show work in a variety of media.
