McKenna Scaturro is Initiated into Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society

McKenna Scaturro, a first-year political science major at McKendree University, was initiated into Chapter 378 of Phi Eta Sigma national honor society on Academic Excellence Day, April 24. She was also installed as the chapter president for 2014-15.

Phi Eta Sigma, the nation's oldest and largest multi-disciplinary honor society for first-year college and university students, promotes and rewards academic excellence. Because it is the chapter's chartering year, the university inducted all students who would have qualified in their first year, as well as 10 honoree faculty and staff members.
