McKendree University Student Autumn Twardowski Participates in Leadership Summit

Autumn Twardowski, a McKendree University junior from Herod, Ill., participated in the 2013 Summit on Leadership Development on Feb. 9 in St. Louis, Mo. McKendree was a sponsoring partner of the ninth annual conference, at which college students learn leadership skills to help them in campus organizations and their future careers. The Summit on Leadership Development is a partnership of three universities: McKendree, Fontbonne and Maryville.

This year's conference hosted over 250 attendees and 30 presenters, both national and regional. "The entire day was dedicated to leadership development for an already outstanding group of student leaders," said Sarah Klucker, director of leadership and student development at McKendree University. "Our students were amazing. They were vivacious, engaged, energetic and amazing ambassadors for the institution."
