McKendree Student Victoria Peters Presents Research to Midwest Sociological Society

Victoria Peters was among seven McKendree University students who presented their undergraduate research in quantitative criminology at the Midwest Sociological Society annual meeting, "Integrating the Sociology Eclectic: Research, Teaching and Activism," in Chicago from March 27 to 31.

Peters, a senior sociology-criminal justice major from Staunton, presented a paper, "Teen Violence: Examining the Effect of Changing Schools Frequently." She is a member of Alpha Kappa Delta sociology honor society. Faculty participants were Dr. Neil Quisenberry and Dr. Melissa Barfield, associate professors of sociology, and Dr. Stephen Hagan, assistant professor of sociology.
