McKendree 2014 Graduate Nykhala Coston Wins Technos Prize

Nykhala Coston, a 2014 McKendree University graduate, received the 2014 Technos International College Prize at the May 10 commencement ceremony at the Lebanon, Illinois campus. Sponsored by the Tanaka Ikueikai Educational Trust to foster multi-cultural awareness, it is given to a graduating senior chosen by the faculty for outstanding academic performance and a commitment to international understanding.

Nykhala is now an assistant language instructor for the Technos College Internship Program in Tokyo. It is a highly competitive six-month paid internship in which she lives on campus with the students, assists the English instructors in a variety of activities and classes, and works with students on contests and projects to help them with their public speaking
