Maile Mills Takes Part in Academic Excellence Celebration

Maile Mills will take part in McKendree University's Academic Excellence Celebration, a showcase of students' scholarly and creative work on April 23 at the Lebanon, Illinois campus. Maile will present a creative project on the "Drug War in America"; discuss social factors that influence students' community attachment, quality of life and mental health; and perform with the Woodwind Quartet and Flute Choir. Classes will not be held so that students, faculty, staff and guests may attend presentations of capstone projects and research posters, musical performances and an art gallery exhibit. Several honor society inductions also will be held.
