Lucendia Adams Participates in Academic Excellence Celebration

Lucendia Adams will take part in McKendree University's fifth annual Academic Excellence Celebration, which showcases students' scholarly and creative projects and accomplishments on April 26 at the Lebanon, Illinois, campus. Lucendia will present her honors thesis, "Salivary Protein Profiles in Humans: An Investigation of Salivary Proteins in Response to Olfactory Stimuli" and co-present "Effects of a Plant-Based Diet on Anaerobic Collegiate Athletes." Classes will not be held so that students, faculty, staff and guests may attend presentations of capstone projects and research posters, music and dance performances, and an art gallery exhibit. Honor society inductions also will be held. #McKAEC18
