Lindsay Hansard to Take Part in McKendree's Academic Excellence Day

McKendree University students will present their scholarly and creative work during the university's first Academic Excellence Day on April 24 at the Lebanon, Illinois campus. Lindsay will present "Benji's Wail: "Exploring Themes of Isolation, Unfulfilled Longing, and Absurdity in "The Sound and the Fury'," based on research she has done in upper level English courses; and "The Examined Life: Philosophy for Better Living."

Classes will not be held, so that students, faculty and staff may attend including capstone project and research poster presentations, art exhibits and performances. Several honor society inductions will also be held.
