Jennifer Melusky is Selected for Leadership Group at McKendree University

Jennifer Melusky, of Belleville, Ill., is among the new group of Emerging Leaders at McKendree University. Melusky is a sophomore computational science - mathematics major.

The Emerging Leaders are students who want to build and develop their leadership skills while moving for positive change on campus and beyond, explained Sarah Klucker, director of leadership and student development. Workshops on campus twice a month challenge their thinking on leadership qualities and characteristics, inspire new ideas, and give them tools to use in their various roles. They also participate in a retreat and conferences on leadership.
