Christine Gill Featured in Exhibition at McKendree Gallery of Art

Christine Gill, from Lakewood, is one of six McKendree University senior art majors whose work will be featured at an exhibition at the McKendree Gallery of Art, 224 West St. Louis St. in Lebanon, Ill. Gill will be showing work in a variety of media. She will exhibit a couple of 3-D geometric works in wood and clay, a series of paintings called "The All Seing Human Eye," and black-and-white photographic portraits.

The student exhibition opens on Thursday, May 9 and continues through May 20. It is free and open to the public. For gallery hours and information, visit www.mckendree.edu/artgallery.

The show is the culmination of the students' art experience at McKendree and their final exhibition before they graduate, said Amy MacLennan, assistant professor of art. They will show work in a variety of media.
