Technos College partners with McKendree and several universities around the world to promote Japanese culture. Since 1992, McKendree University and the Tanaka Foundation have collaborated to send one or two underclassmen and a professor to Technos International Education Week every summer. Dr. Kenji Tanaka developed the program to strengthen American-Japanese ties. He is the founder of the Tanaka Ikueikai Educational Trust, past chairman of Technos International College, and an honorary McKendree University trustee.
