Cheyenne Stock and McKendree U. Cheer Team Take 3rd at Nationals

Cheyenne Stock helped the McKendree University cheer team capture two third place trophies in Small Coed and Intermediate Small Coed categories among Division II schools at the National Cheerleaders Association's Collegiate championship in Daytona Beach, Fla., April 6-8. Thousands of student athletes and coaches from across the U.S. demonstrated their technical skills, showmanship and game day abilities in the world's largest college cheer and dance championship meet. The McKendree Bearcats' Purple and Gold squads previously won their divisions at camp to earn two silver bids to the NCA nationals this year.

Cheyenne, a senior, is a cheerleader on the gold squad.. The cheerleaders perform at home field football games and at men's and women's home court basketball games.
