Chelsea Knight Learns Leadership the Disney Way

Chelsea Knight and other McKendree University students participated in a leadership development conference at Disney World in Orlando during spring break. The group learned some of the proven management and teamwork skills practiced by The Walt Disney Company. When they weren't learning new leadership strategies or practicing more effective communication skills, they had time to explore the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center, and bond as a group during their downtime.

"This is a first for our leadership program and our amazing student leaders," said Sarah Klucker, director of leadership and student development at McKendree. "We are excited to have this opportunity and to see all the ways our students learn from the program and apply it to their lives and our campus community."
